Sorry, but I really have to go off on one here! Final Fantasy 9 spoilers below!

Kuja's accomplishments:
* Destroyed all of Madain Sari, slaughtered the inhabitants, ended a civilization.
* Destroyed all of Burmecia, slaughtered the inhabitants, ended a civilization.
* Did the same thing to Cleyra, thus reducing the entire rat SPECIES down to just the one family the player can save in an optional event, plus whoever happened to be abroad at the time. (Which, as far as we can see, is just three people.)
* Almost succeeded in making Alexandria and Lindblum wipe each other out in the same way.
* Actually succeeded in destroying only half of them, while the player has to watch everyone screaming and crying over those that were lost and struggling to rebuild their homes...
* Mind-raped and corrupted the queen of Alexandria into a war-hungry tyrant, and essentially ruled the country behind the scenes in secret for years while using it to kill the rest of the continent with Queen Brahne as the fall guy.
* Incidentely his plan involved making the queen rip out part of her daughter's soul in order to access the spirit beasts inside, and then forcing these holy nature beings into becoming weapons of mass genocide
* Oh and also creating "black mages" aka fake human beings also intended to be weapons of mass genocide, but sometimes they happen to become sentient and then die less than a year after "birth", with a mental age of a child which is just about enough to comprehend what's happening ^_^
* Oh and after he found the village of sentient escaped mages he blackmailed them into returning to the army by promising to extend their lifespan, when he had no intention of ever following through on it...
* Oh and remember how confused, guilty and heartbroken Brahne seemed when she was mortally wounded and seemed to come back to her senses at last, and how little Vivi (one of those time-limited false mages...) wanted to be angry at her for all she did but couldn't help but cry because Garnet was crying for the mother she used to know???
* OH and how that innocent grandma NPC had her friggin eyes gouged out and can never see her children again thanks to Kuja's fukcing war?!
* And Morrid the nice coffee guy died in an earthquake thanks to Kuja's goddamn evil tree that steals the souls of the dead and turns them into monsters and is causing the entire world to die...
* Speaking of which, he already killed an entire world and we're just lucky it wasn't the one the protagonists live on!
* Oh and that world was the one that created him in the first place...
* And in the end he outright wins his final battle and KILLS THE PARTY and they only successfully save the world by FIGHTING DEATH ITSELF AND COMING BACK
(I just wish the final battle made it clearer that that was what was happening, lol XD The ending's kind of a rushed mess of confusingness XD)

So that's why Kuja is a really fucking scary badass villain, and why the FF9 main party is even more badass for winning.
And thats not even going into how he manages to do all that while being fearless, narcisisstic and poetic like he's finding it FUN!
I wish people would stop acting like he's a failure or a wimp just because he's flambouyant and feminine.
I love him so much as a great villain BECAUSE he's a flambouyant man who's nonetheless a giant badass ^_^
The "sissy villain" archetype is common, but a "sissy villain" who isn't pathetic and shamed for being "sissy" is something rarely seen and uniquely awesome ^_^

Okay now I'm done with all the Kuja ranting, back to your regularly scheduled Bunni XD
