WHATS THIS, AN ACTUAL DRAWING FOR ONCE?
And it's still just a WIP doodle of a random monster design :P I WILL DEFEAT YOU, ART BLOCK!! XD

I dunno whether to make this a monster type or an actual character now..
It was just meant to be an attempt to design something a bit grotesque for once but it came out adorable anyway (and sorta sappily pathetic?) and now I likes 'im XD He just strikes me more as a helpful monster NPC.

I get the sense that he is a funloving sarcastic sidekick kind of guy with an addiction to (badly drawn) coffee-flavoured donuts. I even thought up a bit of a plot!
Reckless scientists tried to artificially replicate the powers of a god into crystal form so that the CHOSEN people (aka foppish asshole nobles with cash to burn) can use magic on thier own. This is what happens when one of those crystals rejects a host...
So I'm thinking this guy is a disillusioned former foppish asshole noble whose life understandably went to the dogs when he exploded into a bone crocodile thingy. (And he never even got a refund!)
And now he's a much nicer hidden forest hermit shopkeeper dude who runs some sort of service in exchange for person-y things from the society he's ostracized from. (Mostly processed foods of sugary goodness) I dunno what yet.. it would likely be some kind of crafting since he probably couldn't sell stuff he didn't make himself. (Hard to order stock to "the lightning-struck tree stump in the Forest of Death, just down the lane from the haunted mine". ..."BTW don't look at my face.. in fact blindfold yourself and just drop it on the counter. Try and ignore the smell." XD)

I dun actually know yet what this creature looks like below the neck, the stick-figure arms are just for teh lulz XD
