Baby Tannyl Scribbles

My scanner appears to have spontaneously fixed itself o.O Guess it was just overheating after all!
So have a sketchy scribbley random! It's Mystery Character B, who has now finally been named... Tannyl!

I drew him as a kid cos I've been figuring out his backstory and stuffs. He's from a noble family but was unlucky enough to be born as a Half- a mutant with mixed blood of two animal types. (Usually if a reptile and a mammal mate then you get some reptile kids and some mammal ones, not a mix) Because of this he ended up being demoted to a servant to his own former family once he hit puberty and the signs started to show.. signs such as his legs falling off. There isn't an easy way to hide that!
So yeah anyway this is a pic of him as a kitty person instead of his usual kittysnake weirdnessness. He's grumpy here cos he honestly hated the noble life- he wasn't very smart or very polite or very interested in anything they tried to teach him, and he was never allowed outdoors without an escort etc. Plus it was all worthless anyway- he was the third son and had almost absolutely no chance of ever taking over the family business. Yet he had to do all this stuff because it was just WHAT YOU DO- if he can't live up to his noble potential then he at least has to marry into some rich family and strengthen social ties with the other nobles! BE USEFUL SOMEHOW, SON. Thus etiquette lessons til he's got manners coming out his ears
He hated it and just gave up on learning entirely, preferring to disguise himself and escape into the city to muck about with the poorer kids. His disguise was pretty much yeah... take off my shirt, put on a hat. Surprisingly it kinda works cos nobody's willing to believe that that's the fancy regal kid running around topless covered in mud and trying to throw a spider down the priest's knickers XD

And have some scribbleyness! Him and Fran were friends from childhood- ironically Fran was one of his servants back when he was a nobleman and then they ended up working together in the end... Fran's ALSO a noble-blooded guy stricken from the record and shoved down to secondary status, but in a different way. He's the bastard son of a genuine noble (of a different family to Tann), and thus illegible for any sort of special treatment, but they couldn't exactly leave him to live in a stinking hovel with his biological mother.
It's not as bad as it sounds- the way it goes with nobles in this area is that there's a primary and secondary family. Primary family has all the nobility, secondary family is a vaguely related gaggle of rabble (rejected from nobility for various reasons) that gets guaranteed employment for life, as well as a roof over thier head in a fancy district, even if it's in servants quarters. (Though they're more like butlers than slaves) If there's a surplus of servants then they get rented out to other noble families, so that's why Fran was working for Tann's parents.
So yeah, anyway have a mortal Fran. He used to be an ant-person when he was alive.
